Worry is a useless emotion because it doesn’t help anything. It is a complete waste of time and energy because it doesn’t change anything. Worrying does not prevent negative events from happening, nor does it result in positive outcomes.
Instead, it creates deadly symptoms and health problems such as:
I have spent a good portion of my life worrying about things that haven’t happened yet and situations I have absolutely no control over. However, over the past 7 years, I have gotten much better at stopping this bad habit. I have come to realize that it is not only a complete waste of time, but it is a harmful way to expend my energy.
